Thursday in Buenos Aires (Argentina), the President Michel Martelly, attended the inauguration ceremony of the new President of Argentina, Mauricio Macri.

The event which was attended by among others the Presidents of Bolivia, Evo Marales, of Chile, Michele Bachelet, of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff, and Ecuador, Rafael Correa, was first held at the Argentinean National Congress where the new president Macri delivered his inaugural speech before going to the Presidential Palace.

The President Martelly, on behalf of Haiti presented its congratulations to the new President of Argentina and wished him success in his new role. The Head of the Haitian state took the opportunity to reaffirm its counterpart, its firm determination to continue and strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation that have always characterized relations between the two countries.
