Saturday morning, a group of Haitians angry, armed with sticks, machetes and stones demonstrated to express their outrage at the assassination, probably with a hammer, of a compatriot they attributed to a Dominican.

In protest, they blocked traffic to the hotels of Uvero Alto (north of Punta Cana), preventing buses to access to the scene to pick up tourists.

A police contingent went quickly on site to try to calm the Haitians, before the arrival of special forces, who dispersed the demonstrators mercilessly and made access to tourist sites.
