iciHaiti - Health : Since the appearance of Zika, 1777 cases reported

Dr. Paul Adrien, Epidemiology Director, of laboratory and of the research of the Ministry of Public Health announced that on the whole territory dated 16 March 2015, 1,777 cases of Zika fever have been reported by health facilities since the appearance of the first confirmed case in Haiti in the West Department.
Department of the West: 735 infected people (41.36%);
North Department: 332 cases (18.68%);
Artibonite Department: 233 (13, 11%);
Central Department: 171 (9.70%);
Nippes Department: 83 cases (4.67%);
Department Southeast: 69 cases (3.88%);
Department South, 45 cases (2.53%);
Department Northeast: 42 cases (2.36);
Department of Grande-Anse 39 cases (2.19%);
Department Northwest 28 cases (1.22%).
