The dialysis department of the State University of Haiti (HUEH) faces significant difficulties at equipment indicated Dr Maurice Fils Mainville, Director General of the Hospital, which has specified Wednesday that on 8 dialysis machines, 6 are down for several months and can not be repaired by the only competent technician in Haiti, which has neither the tools nor the spare parts needed...

However these new machines will not solve the problem of maintenance of these very expensive equipment, but they will allow at least to several patients to receive their weekly dialysis indispensable to their survival...
