From 21 to 24 July 2016 more than 1,300 Haitian and Dominican athletes will participate in the "Festival Deportivo de la Frontera 2016" which will take place in the province of Independencia in Dominican Republic.

In this important bi-national sporting event will take place competitions of baseball, basketball, football, handball, volleyball, taekwondo, boxing, judo, athletics, weightlifting and wushu (Chinese version most modern of martial arts).

Haitian athletes will come among other from Anse-à-Pitres, Tiroli, Belladère and Ganthier and Dominicans in particular from Jimaní, Barahona, Pedernales, Elías Piña, Montecristi and Dajabón...
