Following complaints received by the population of the border area of the Northeast Department, particularly the inhabitants of Ouanaminthe and Belladère https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19837-haiti-notice-complaints-on-phones-transferred-in-roaming-mode.html Jean Marie Altéma, Director General of the National Council of Telecommunications (CONATEL) informs that of technicians of the Council are in this department since 24 and until January 27, to evaluate the services provided in the border area with the Dominican Republic and control the broadcasting spectrum in the area.

CONATEL reiterates its determination to accompany telephony service operators with a view to scrupulous compliance with their commitments to consumers.
