iciHaiti - Education : «D-3» of the first phase of official exams
The Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) is preparing to organize the first phase of official examinations, which will take place from Monday, June 30 to July 3rd, 2025, for students of the 9th year of fundemental education, students from teacher training school and kindergarten teachers, as well as those from Family Education Centers (CEF).

187,419 students of 9th from 7,326 schools across the country's 10 Departmental Education Directorates are expected, including 71,749 students from the Ouest department.

6,557 rooms in 810 examination centers will be available to accommodate candidates.

Yves Roblin, the Director General of the Ministry, indicated that several changes have been made to the exam process this year.

On the first day, candidates will take the Creole Communication exam. The exams will begin at 9:30 a.m., but on other days, they will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Furthermore, this year, students will be assessed on 11 subjects, including the addition of four new subjects : Aesthetic and Artistic Education, Physical Education and Sports, Citizenship Education, and Technology Education for Productive Activities. On this point, Kendy Nicolas, head of the Department of Fundamental Education (DEF), reassured, stating that students have received activity sheets and summaries of the content that will be assessed for these new subjects and will not be penalized.
