The National Office for Partnership in Education (ONAPE) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14245-haiti-education-launch-of-the-national-office-for-learning-partnership.html presented the results of two studies, one on the determinants of educational achievement in Haiti and the other on the management of the education system.

For Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, the Minister of National Education, with the scientific insights put forward by ONAPE "the Ministry now favors an approach based on the instructions of reality..."

According to Minister Cadet, the results of these studies will help to strengthen the understanding of the problems of the sector in order to better guide decisions and public action in education.

For its part, ONAPE, beyond the studies, has already prepared an Implementation Plan with a view to addressing all the problems identified on the basis of the results of the studies.

Paul Gomis, Director of the Unesco Office in Haiti, welcomed the availability of these studies, which provide valuable insights on the understanding of the Haitian reality in education in a scientific way. In this sense, it fully supports the initiatives of ONAPE.

Minister Cadet announced in June a workshop on the appropriation and adoption of the work carried out by ONAPE in view to launch the operations of the Plan of Implementation.
