Haitian company Veerhouse Voda Haiti S.A, winner of the Leveraging Effective Application of Direct Investments (LEAD) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14093-haiti-economy-31-winners-at-business-plan-competition.html was chosen to build 5 school units in 5 schools in the Central Plateau. These units consist of an addition to existing schools and includes 3 new classes as well as a kitchen. The five units will be completed within 21 weeks.

Let's recall that Veerhouse Voda, which has been present in Haiti since 2012, specializes in sustainable construction from expanded polystyrene (EPS) elements produced in its local factory, a material allowing a construction 4 to 5 times faster than traditional construction. Fast, reliable, seismic and para-cyclonic, this economic process is known especially for its thermal insulating qualities. During construction, the project will give work to many members of the community, not to mention the administrative and teaching jobs that will be created in a sustainable way.
