iciHaiti - FLASH : Bus accident 8 victims

On Saturday, a transport bus, linking Cap-Haitien and Port-au-Prince, overturned on the national road #1 at the eastern entrance of Gonaïves in the Artibonite. The accident caused 8 wounded including 3 seriously.
The injured were rushed to the hospital thanks to the intervention of the national police and volunteer civil protection. Three women were seriously injured, respectively with fracture of the pelvis, fracture of the femur and polytrauma.
The bus which was heading for Port-au-Prince, belongs to a private company providing inter-departmental links across the country. The causes of this accident are unknown.
