iciHaiti - Training : Conflict Resolution and Gender Equity 04/10/2017 08:18:22
The development of cognitive, emotional and social skills, as well as directive management in the light of the conflicts resulting from social relations between the sexes have, thus, encouraging reflection and exchanges served as a thread of activity. The national pedagogical team will organize other workshops throughout the year in the 17 schools of the network as part of a broad process towards a "democratic school". The aim will be to strengthen the capacities of educational staff not only in terms of pedagogy but also in terms of structure. Since its creation in 2006, Foi et Joie Haïti has made teacher training one of its priorities. In Ouanaminthe, it set up the "Ecole Supérieure de Professorat et d'Éducation Saint Ignace de Loyola" which allows teachers to obtain a license after four years of study. IH/ iciHaiti
