Thursday, Jean Jorel Janvier, the Director General of the General Administration of Customs (AGD), announced at a press conference at the border, that Customs officers, of the Border Police (PoliFront) and other agents from the specialized body of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) had proceeded during two operations, to the seizure of 15 trucks of contraband goods from the Dominican Republic.

7 trucks were seized in the night from May 15 in Ganthier and 8 others in the night from May 16 to 17, at the foot of Morne Cabri and are held in the customs courtyard.

These trucks included styrofoam products, eggs and various other food and consumer products.
