A decision of pro-government Deputies and opponents who believe that the 2018-2019 budget bill, amounting to 172.8 billion gourdes does not meet the requirements of the hour.

According to the deputy of Marigot Deus Deroneth, with 110 billion gourdes allocated to expenses and 62.8 to investment, this draft budget does not fit the reality.

Let's recall that the draft budget amounts to 172.8 billion gourdes including 110 billion allocated to operating expenses and 62.8 billion to investments. The minister said that this bill is socially dominated with two components: social infrastructure and social appeasement to reach the most vulnerable segments of society, and that revenue forecasts are estimated at 114 billion gourdes, and that donations in budget support amounted to 28.9 billion.
