iciHaiti - Cooperation : Towards a task force of donors for the management of trash

On January 25, Jean Claudy Pierre, the Minister of Planning and External Cooperation, received at his office the Japanese Ambassador to Haiti Mitsuaki Mizuno. The two men discussed current projects, constraints affecting the smooth running and corrective measures. Seismic engineering training, the provision of much more agricultural equipment and the increase in the number of Haitian fellows were also discussed.
Furthermore, in terms of perspectives, Minister Pierre stressed the importance of creating a task force of donors, with which Japan would be associated. This task force would aim to support the Haitian Government in the management of trash from collection until their recycling.
