iciHaiti - Politic : The Executive Director of the CEP resigns
In a letter dated March 15 sent to Léopold Berlanger, President of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) Uder Antoine, the Executive Director of the CEP in office since May 23, 2016, has submitted his resignation.

Excerpt from the Antoine user letter :
"I regret to confirm, as previously announced, my decision to resign, upon receipt of this letter, from my position as Executive Director of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) that I have held since May 23, 2016, and this for reasons of personal and professional convenience.

However, I remain at the disposal of the CEP until the end of March 2019 to ensure the transfer of my responsibilities to my successor and to inform him of the status of the files in progress.

I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the other members of the Council, the technical staff and the administrative staff of the CEP, both at the central level and in the deconcentrated structures (BED, BEC), who gave me the opportunity to serve my country with pride, dignity, integrity and professionalism [...]"

According to our sources, the resignation of Uder Antoine would have nothing political, but would be linked to the evolution of his career, he would have accepted to take up new challenges with an international organization.
