Against all odds, Haiti was surprised by the second team of "Universidad Nacional Evangelica" (UNEV #2) [12-11], team that Haiti had beaten the day before [13-12]

Shocked by this defeat, our players were unable to stand up to team #2 of the Dominican Republic (defeated the day before 9-8) in front of which our players bowed [9-5], losing all hope of a bronze medal and a place on the podium with this second defeat.

Haiti left the "Copa Hispaniola", 4th overall, far from the Champion image that Haiti had forged in September 2018 by winning the first edition of the "Copa Hispaniola" thanks to its victory against the Dominican Republic [12-10].
