iciHaiti - CARIFESTA XIV : All details on Haitian participation
A large delegation of 150 people composed of musicians, singers, dancers, craftsmen and media left the country Thursday to Trinidad and Tobago to participate in the 14th edition of the "Caribbean Festival of Arts" (Carifesta XIV) https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-28516-icihaiti-carifesta-2019-150-haitian-artists-at-the-caribbean-festival-of-arts-in-trinidad.html

From August 16 to 25, Haiti will share its culture and art in different categories : dance, music, fashion, visual arts, crafts, gastronomy around the theme "Haiti, land of memory and living traditions". This participation will also help sell our tourist and historical sites and promote investment in the country. To this end, a kiosk of the Center for Investment Facilitation (CFI) will welcome anyone who wants to learn about opportunities to invest in Haiti.

The artists, dance companies and musical groups programmed are : Renette Désir, Ayiiti by Ayiti Coles, Ti Coca and Wanga Negès, Paul Beaubrun and Band, Gérald Kébreau and Friends, Haiti Tckaka Danse, Haiti National Theater, Compagnie Jean René Delsoin, the 21 nansyon Company, the Explosion Cultural Club, Boukman Eksperyans and Sweet Micky.

For their part, the designers Michel Chataigne, Dayanne Danier, Miko Guillaume and David André promise to surprise by their creations.

Our artisans from Saut-D'Eau, Jacmel, Bel-Air (Port-au-Prince), the Noailles Village of the Croix-des-Bouquets will once again discover our impressive works made of iron cut, in papier mâché or with recycled products.

Joseph Eddy Pierre, Eder Romeus, Xavier Dalencourt and Xavier Delatour have joined the delegation in the Visual Arts category for exhibitions and workshops.
