Sunday for their first match of the last qualifying phase of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup (Costa Rica / Panama 2020), on the lawn of the stadium Panamericano in San Cristobal in the Dominican Republic, our Grenadières crushed the Cayman Islands, humiliating them overwhelming defeat [8-0]

In the first period Melchie Daëlle Dumornay aka "Coventina", Captain of the national team, opened the scoring to the 3’ in favor of Haiti [1-0] followed a few minutes later by a goal from Dayana Pierre-Louis in the 7' [2-0], a first period which will be marked by a double by Valentina Ornis in the 24' then in the 30th minute of game bringing the score for Haiti to [4-0] in this first period, against powerless opponents in front of our Grenadières.

Returning from the locker room Darlina Joseph made an uncompromising double at 5 minutes apart in the 70’ and 75’ raising the score for Haiti to [6-0]. At 86' Coventina scored twice in this match [7-0] and to fill the humiliation of their opponents, the Cayman Islands cash in 89' a goal from Flero Dina Surpris [8-0] final score at end of statutory time.
