iciHaiti - Taiwan : Donation of $1.5M for the «Kore Pép» Program

Monday at the Embassy of Taiwan (Republic of China) in Port-au-Prince, in the presence in particular of Chancellor Bocchit Edmond, the Ambassador of Taiwan accredited to Haiti, Bang-Zyh Liu, presented to Charles Ernest Chatelier, Director General of the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) a check for 1.5 million US dollars constituting the second tranche of financial support of 4.5 million dollars intended to support the Social Program "Kore Pép" https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-30156-icihaiti-social-fight-against-hunger-faes-on-all-fronts.html
Ambassador Bang-Zyh Liu expressed satisfaction with the management by FAES of the first installment of this cash donation and the production of a very detailed report while hoping that the Institution will do the same exercise using the second tranche.
Chatelier on behalf of President Jovenel Moïse and the Haitian people, to express its gratitude to the Taiwanese Government for its unconditional support to the Haitian people.
