On Monday, Abner Septembre, the Minister of the Environment with a view to restoring ecosystems officially launched in support of the partners the "Garden pantry of plenty" pilot project.

Twelve partners are mobilized around this new experience which aims to follow up on Circular 003 published in Le Moniteur #85, relating to the measures necessary to prevent the worsening of food insecurity and the unemployment caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The first phase of the project should allow the Ministry to develop, in concert with the partners of the program, 12 "Garden pantry of plenty" These gardens aim to make small farms more productive than traditional peasant gardens, more labor-efficient and more attractive to young people and women.

The Minister Septembre endorses this approach designed by a partner, the Banyen Center - Jardin Labo (in Vallue), because it is respectful of the environment and able to offer natural products for domestic and commercial needs all year round...
