iciHaiti - Politic : Members of the diaspora can get a CIN at Port-au-Prince airport

Monday, Louis Gonzague Edner Day, the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) explained that members of the diaspora born from a Haitian father or mother can obtain a National Identification Card of Haiti (CIN) for nearly a month at the annex of the National Identification Office (ONI) at the MHAVE kiosk at Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-32375-haiti-politic-an-annex-of-the-oni-at-toussaint-louverture-airport-for-the-diaspora.html adding that several hundred CINs had already been produced for members of the diaspora.
Minister Day clarified that the procedures have been simplified, the applicant can now provide a photocopy of his birth certificate and their CIN, after the usual checks, will be issued to him within a period not exceeding 4 days.
