Following consultation with expert stakeholders and given the prevailing challenges in Haitian football, FIFA has decided to establish an advisory panel chaired by The Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean and made up of experts and representatives of civil society organisations and institutions to support the work of the Haitian Football Association normalisation committee.

This panel will play a critical role in assisting the normalisation committee in relation to safeguarding, child protection and the implementation of strategic social projects aimed at safely and permanently developing football in Haiti.

With this change, Michaël Jean who was President of the Standardization Committee https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-32839-haiti-flash-under-supervision-the-haitian-football-federation-will-be-led-by-michaelle-jean.html and who will be President of the Advisory Committee is replaced by Jacques Letang.
