The 7th edition of the Young Journalist Prize in Haiti was launched in early September 2021 at the Representation of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) for the Caribbean and Latin America and online registrations are open.

The theme chosen for this year is "Haitian society face the climatic, environmental and health risks".

Launched in 2015, the main objective of this Prize is to contribute to the professionalization of young Haitian journalists and to promote young talents residing in Haiti, aged 18 to 35.

This competition is aimed at journalists from the print/web, radio and audiovisual media,

The winners will benefit from an internship in major media in Europe.

Applicants must submit their document online no later than October 1, 2021, on the OIF website.
