iciHaiti - Cap-Haitien : Moving funeral of the Director General a.i of the City Hall
It is in an environment marked by sadness that the funeral of Carlos Florestal, former Director General ai of the City Hall and Director of Financial Affairs, who died on September 13, 2021 at the age of 41, was celebrated this Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Parc du repos.

A moving ceremony which allowed the family of the deceased, the employees of the Town Hall and hundreds of people from all over to pay him a well-deserved tribute.

On behalf of the Municipal Commission, Deputy Mayor Patrick Almonor praised the deceased as a model of skill, a good businessman and a hard worker. "He was not only our Director, he was also a responsible man, a friend and a sincere collaborator," stressing that his departure is a great loss first for the City of Cap-Haitien and for Haiti.

For her part, Barbara Bien-Aimé presented an emotional biography of her cousin. For her, her late cousin was the very embodiment of kindness, a man of his word and a Poto Mitan to her family.

Carlos Florestal was married and the father of three children.

That his soul rests in peace.
