Friday, March 4, 2022 around 6:45 a.m., for the second time in less than a week, the United States Coast Guard stopped a sailboat overloaded with illegal immigrants from Haiti.

The ship was intercepted about 10 miles off Anguilla Cay, an island in the Bahamas just north of Cuba. The Coast Guard said 123 people were aboard the sailboat, far exceeding the craft's capacity.
