During a police operation carried out on the night of Friday March 18 to 19, 2022, agents from the Departmental Unit for the Maintenance of Order (UDMO) of the Nippes department arrested 5 individuals, suspected of being members of the Village-de-Dieu gang and accused of criminal association and theft of vehicles :

Claudy Mezard (40 years old) alias "Makandal";

Toussaint Talannia (21);

Myckel Toussaint (24);

"Tamarah" thus known (31);

Reginald Toussain (24).

They were intercepted by the police while they were taking part in the festivities of the patronal feast of Saint-Joseph.

In addition, two vehicles : a gray Rav4 without license plate and a black Ford Ranger registered TQ 24730 were seized by the police.
