On Wednesday June 15, 2022 at Delmas 83, the gang leader of the « route piste » « Aviation-Building 2004 » , Watson Gustave, alias « Mafia », specializing in truck hijacking and kidnapping, was fatally shot during a exchanges of fire with members of two Intervention and Research Brigades (BRI) of the National Police of Haiti (PNH).

During the shooting, one of the men of the gang who accompanied him was also killed. A 9mm pistol was found in their possession.
