Highly motivated demonstrators : motorcycle taxi drivers, angry residents and political activists took to the streets to protest against fuel shortages, insecurity and the Government's inaction...

Sporadic gunshots of unknown origin were reported during the day.

Around 2:30, taking advantage of a relative lull in the fighting between the gangs, one of the two ships blocked in the harbor of Port-au-Prince for security reasons, carrying 70,0000 barrels of gasoline was able to unload its precious cargo at the Varreux terminal.
