iciHaiti - Crisis : Digicel needs you

In a note, the Digicel telephone company explains "[...] For several weeks, the country has been facing a crisis that affects everyone and all sectors. In order to continue to provide services to its customers, Digicel has mobilized its emergency cell which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. More than 300 employees are mobilized in its Central and at least 100 teams are deployed in the field to continue to operate the network. Today, thanks to these teams, approximately 65% of the network is operational and we are working tirelessly to increase this percentage.

Despite all the difficulties, we managed to supply the majority of our strategic storage spaces. The work is not easy, which is why we invite the population to give us a hand so that we can find a way to continue to supply the sites. We are counting on your solidarity to allow us to continue to provide services such as calls, internet, MonCash transfers etc...

Digicel asks the general press, radio, television and online newspapers to spread this message and help raise awareness of the importance of communication. We would like every citizen to understand that even the media that provide information will be affected if there is no service.

Digicel thanks in advance every citizen who will contribute to the level they can to protect and facilitate access to telecommunications in the country."
