Tuesday, November 22, 2022, alerted to the presence of a suspicious gray pick-up truck, on board which were several heavily armed individuals, police officers from specialized units : SWAT, Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO - West 1), as well as agents from the Port-au-Prince Police Station, from the Central Direction of the Road Police (DCPR), have been mobilized.

Arrived on the scene a chase has since started at Montagne Noire, located in the commune of Pétion-ville, up to the level of Delmas 83.

The bandits opened fire in the direction of the security forces who immediately responded. In the exchange of fire, one of the bandits was mortally wounded, while his accomplices managed to flee.

Police seized a Kalashnikov assault rifle and a vehicle.
