On January 26, 600 school principals and teachers from the Petit-Goâve school district (including the schools of Léogâne and Grand-Goâve) each received at the Faustin Soulouque high school, a copy of the "Unique school book" and a notebook of exercises for the first year of the fundamental.

This activity was inaugurated by Nesmy Manigat the Minister of National Education who was accompanied by his Chief of Staff Jacques Abraham and the Departmental Director of Education for the West, Etienne Louisseul France.

The Minister explained to these principals and teachers, from 321 public and private schools, all the advantages of this new learning tool "It is a book that will allow all children of any school in the country to learn what is included in the official programs (Mathematics, Experimental Sciences, Social Sciences, French Communication and Creole Communication). It is a book that will put children at ease because it is written in Creole, except for the French language subjects which are written in French. It's a book that will help families a lot because they won't have to buy stacks and stacks of books for a child in the first year of fundamental, more often than not these stacks of books don't help at all in children's learning, and are useless"

During this phase of experimentation which will take place during the 2023 school year, the Minister Manigat encourages educational actors to seek to master this tool which offers all Haitian students the possibility of having early, in their schooling, the same knowledge base.

While this distribution took place at the Faustin Soulouque high school in Petit-Goâve, 222 school principals and teachers also received each a "Unique School Book" and exercise book as part of an organized gathering. at the Anacaona high school in Léogâne.

Remember that on January 24, 558 school principals and teachers in the Carrefour school district received their “Unique School Book”.
