The Digicel Foundation is organizing a poetry contest in Haitian Creole and French around the theme "Engagement" where participants will have to write a poetic text describing "how the engagement of young people in their communities can contribute to the development of the country".

The participant must submit their text between February 3 and 17, 2023 to the address : fondation.projet@digicelgroup.com

Terms :

1- The participant must be enrolled in a school (NSl - NS4) or university in Haiti;

2- The text must be written in Creole or in French;

3- The text must be unpublished;

4- The text must not contain more than 1,000 characters;

Information to attach to the text :

The participant must accompany his text with additional information, as follows below and send everything to the address: fondation.projet@digicelgroup.com

1 - A photo ID of the participant;

2 - His surname and first name;

3 - His age;

4 - The name and address of the school or university in which he is registered;

5 - Proof of registration at the establishment for the 2022/2023 academic year;

6 - His telephone number;

7 - His email address.

Premiums :

- Creole / schoolchildren category: a scholarship of 1,000 US dollars

- Creole / student category: a scholarship of 1,500 US dollars

- French category / schoolchildren: a scholarship of 1,000 US dollars

- French category / students: a scholarship of 1500 US dollars
