The Prime Minister Office informs the population that on Thursday March 2d, 2023 in the Council of Ministers, Sunday 5, Monday 6 and Tuesday March 7, 2023 were declared days of national mourning in memory of Prime Minister Gérard Latortue who died on Monday, February 27 in the United States of America https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-38950-haiti-flash-death-of-former-prime-minister-gerard-r-latortue.html
During these three days, the national flag will be lowered. Radio and TV stations will feature shows and music for the occasion.
The communication office draws the attention of the public to the fact that these 3 days are not no-worked and that consequently the public administration, commerce, industry and schools will operate as usual.
