On Wednesday April 26, 2023, at a press conference, Nesmy Manigat the Minister of National Education revealed that to date, 11,969 schools had already declared and registered on the ministry's online platform as part of the compulsory school census.

"Ar two days left to the end of the census, we strongly encourage all schools not yet registered to fulfill this obligation without wasting time. If a school has difficulty filling out the online form, it can seek assistance from the School District Bureaux (BDS) and/or from the Departmental Directorates of Education (DDE)," recalled the Minister.

Adding that without the online registration and without the e-mail address which will give access to a code, the school will not receive the message having to grant it the authorization, if all the conditions are met, to be able to register the pupils to the official examinations of the 9th fundamental year.

The Minister took the opportunity to remind "In less than two weeks, this registration process will be over for 9th year fundamental students (May 7, 2023). We therefore ask schools that have already registered and who have already received the student registration authorization email to hurry."
