As a result, this substation has become dysfunctional and a good part of the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince is no longer supplied. EDH apologizes to subscribers of Carrefour-Feuilles, Savanne Pistache, Decayette, Route des Dalles, Rue Fouchard, Fort Mercredi, Rue Mgr Guilloux, Ruelle Laraque, Chemin des Dalles, Place Jérémie, Avenue Magloire Ambroise, Rue Jean Phillipe of its occasional inability to serve them. Such actions, far from satisfying the electricity needs of local residents, only make the difficulties of EDH more complicated because the operating equipment of the substations is extremely expensive and difficult to repair or even replace.
