The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) learned with pain of the death of Haitian coach Sonche Pierre on the night of October 20 to 21, 2023 at the age of 70.

Sonche Pierre born in Gonaïves led the men's national team and several clubs in the country including Racing Club Haïtien, Don Bosco, América des Cayes, Réal Hope and Racing des Gonaïves under whose colors he also distinguished himself as a footballer (Midfielder).

He won the national championship twice, in 2014 with America des Cayes and in 2017 with Real Hope FA.

"The FHF bows before the remains of this servant of football and asks the members of his family and the leaders of the clubs he managed to receive the expression of its emotional condolences, in this painful circumstance.

Rest in peace Coach Sonche Pierre."
