Following an arrest warrant issued against him by the investigating office at the Court of First Instance of Hinche, for vehicle theft and criminal conspiracy, Jeïsson Jean (34 years old), originally from the commune of Cerca-la -Source, was arrested in Thomassique by the Police, during a joint operation carried out by agents from Hinche and those from Thomassique

Aboard a gray vehicle without a license plate, and accompanied by a Dominican identified as Leonel Albert, they opened fire in the direction of the law enforcement officers. Leonel Albert was hit by projectiles in exchanges of fire with the police and is receiving the treatment his case requires in a hospital center, under police surveillance.

As for Jeïsson Jean, he was brought before the authorities for further legal proceedings...
