iciHaiti - Politic : Signing of a MoU with Saudi Arabia 20/11/2023 06:26:37
This protocol is part of the efforts made by the SFD to support small island developing states around the world. aims to open up horizons for development cooperation in order to contribute to the development of vital sectors in Haiti and also embodies the desire to address the challenges that oppose Haiti's development process. This protocol confirms the importance of international cooperation and solidarity to achieve sustainable development, in order to contribute to the strengthening of social growth and economic prosperity. It should be noted that the FSD has been offering its development activities in CARICOM Member States for almost 40 years. Since the beginning of 2023, the Saudi Fons has started its activity in some CARICOM member states by financing approximately $670 million for the development of 12 projects and programs. Let's remember that the FSD since its creation has financed more than 800 development projects and programs worth more than $20 billion, in more than 100 developing countries around the world.
