Wednesday March 20, 2024, 3 bandits were fatally injured and 2 vehicles confiscated during a police intervention carried out, around 1 a.m. in Reinbold, on the Road of Bourdon after these armed individuals on board these vehicles opened fire on a police patrol in Delmas 40 B.

At the same time, at Delmas 95 and 97, during a police operation in Pétion-ville, the gang leader "Makandal", as he is known, was fatally injured in exchanges of fire with the Police.

Furthermore, the General Directorate of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) informs that since the past weekend several police operations have been conducted in various gang centers in the metropolitan area, among others in Delmas 6, Downtown Port-au-Prince, Bellevue, Belvil, Road of Frères, Laboule, Thomassin.
