iciHaiti - FIFA : Our Grenadiers advance 4 places in the world rankings
Haiti advances four places in the FIFA monthly ranking for June 2024, going from 90th to 86th position thanks to the two victories against Saint Lucia [2-1] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-42497-haiti-flash-world-cup-2026-qualifiers-haiti-wins-2-1-against-saint-lucia-video.html and Barbados [3-1] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-42520-haiti-flash-our-grenadiers-win-[3-1]-against-the-tridents-of-barbados-videos.html in the qualifiers for the Confederation of America North, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF) counting for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Should be noted that Curaço also gains 4 places (from 91st to 87th) after a convincing start in these same qualifiers in Group C shared with Haiti.

The FIFA ranking will be decisive in the placement of the teams in the three different hats for the final phase of the World Cup qualifiers. At the moment, Panama (43rd), Costa Rica (50th) and Jamaica (53rd) are in an ideal position to occupy the 1st hat, therefore group seeds, while Honduras (78th), Salvador (80th) and Haiti (86th) are in the second, which automatically puts Curaçao (87th) in pot 3....

Sébastien Migné's Grenadiers are obliged to obtain positive results in the Nations League, from September to November 2024, to progress in this important FIFA ranking and above all to avoid being overtaken by Curaçao. The duel between Haiti and this team in the 2nd part of the qualifying phase, on Monday June 9, 2025, promises to be crucial for the supremacy of Group C and the monthly FIFA rankings. Remember that on June 5, 2025 our Grenadiers will face Aruba.
