James Monazard, the Minister of Tourism, went to Toussaint Louverture International Airport on July 25 to meet with various public and private stakeholders in the tourism sector with a view to improving visitor reception.

Minister Monazard met with Politour agents working at the airport and then with Yves Durcamel François, the Director General of the National Airport Authority (AAN), on the possibilities of improving the public service offer at the airport.

A little later, a meeting was held with several airline operators, including Jetblue, Spirit Airlines, Air Caraïbes, American Airlines, Sunrise Airlines, Mesdhasa, Air Transat concerning the improvement of the private service offer.

The discussions focused on various problems faced by tourism operators at the Airport and the measures to be adopted to improve the reception. The Minister took the opportunity to invite airline representatives to consider partnerships with the State to create synergy in the sector.

Aware that Toussaint Louverture International Airport is the main gateway to Haiti, Minister Monazard promises to meet with his colleagues to achieve his goals.
