iciHaïti - Taekwondo : Message from Grandmaster Ostin Frénel, President of the FHT
Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, as part of the celebration of International Taekwondo Day, Haitian Grandmaster Ostin Frénel hhttps://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-39914-icihaiti-taekwondomaster-ostin-fresnel-first-haitian-to-reach-grade-2.html President of the Haitian Taekwondo Federation delivered a message.

Message from Ostin Frénel :
"On this International Taekwondo Day, we celebrate not only the strength and discipline of this noble practice, but also the commitment of those who worked for its establishment in Haiti.

I pay tribute to our pioneers, the Executive Committee and especially to our valiant athletes. Through their patriotism and dedication, they have carried high the colors of our country, making the Haitian people proud with each medal won.

Despite the challenges of insecurity, political instability, and the humanitarian crisis, we have shown admirable resilience.

Taekwondo, beyond being a sport, is a powerful tool for building character, encouraging discipline, and contributing to the fight against delinquency. We firmly believe that this discipline can play a key role in building a stronger and more united society.

Thus, we hope for the support of the State and the private sector to contribute to the development of this discipline and our young athletes."
