The "Madan Sara" are a pillar of our economy, they play a crucial role in supplying local markets, particularly for food products. However, they are suffering the full effects of insecurity which disrupts their daily activities.
The 3rd issue of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti "BRH - Info à la Loupe" reveals the results of an exclusive survey conducted among several dozen "Madan Sara" in the West Department, through the "Rasanbleman Madan Sara Dayiti" (RAMSA).
This survey highlights the impact of insecurity on this vital group in the informal sector.
