• At Park Sainte-Thérèse, Vieux Tigre earned a crucial victory in this Group C top-of-the-table clash. Daison Norestant opened the scoring in the 10th minute [1-0], giving Violette the lead. Christwadell Mompoint equalized for the Pétion-villois in the 66th minute [1-1], but Duckens Pierre sealed the victory for Violette with a goal in the 90th + 2nd minute [2-1]. This victory allows Violette to join Baltimore SC among the first teams to qualify for the final phase of the competition, becoming the second team officially qualified for the CNS-D1 playoffs. • At Park Levelt, Triomphe AC kept their playoff hopes alive by snatching a 1-1 draw against Tempête FC. Liancourt took the lead in the 5th minute [1-0] thanks to Simeon Jean Gilbert, but Rosemond Olive equalized from the penalty spot in the 48th minute [1-1]. This crucial point keeps Triomphe mathematically in the running for a playoff spot. • At Land des Gabions in Les Cayes, America FC claimed their first victory of the competition by defeating Cavaly AS [2-1]. Trailing after a goal from Fénelson Joseph in the 27th minute for Cavaly AS [0-1], Cayes turned the tide thanks to Jean Max Guerrier in the 33rd minute [1-1] and Alix Michel in the 46th minute [2-1]. Cavaly, still without a win, sees their chances of success diminish. At the end of Matchday 5, Baltimore SC (Group B) and Violette AC (Group C) are the first two teams to qualify for the playoffs. The competition will continue next weekend with Matchday 6.
