Since November 4th, 2024, a first contingent of 25 soldiers from the Haitian Armed Forces (FAd'H) has been in training in Martinique (France) within the 33rd Marine Infantry Regiment (RIMa) https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-43559-icihaiti-training-departure-of-the-first-group-of-fad-h-soldiers-for-martinique-video.html

During two weeks of intensive training, Haitian soldiers benefit from theoretical and practical instruction in all phases of combat : discovery of the French FAMAS assault rifle and mastery of individual weaponry, open-zone combat, shooting, obstacle courses, etc...

This training is part of an operational military partnership between France and Haiti and aims to promote the restoration of security and stability in Haiti

It should be recalled that within the Caribbean zone, the Armed Forces in the Antilles and the 33rd RIMa are recognized for the quality of military training provided for the benefit of partner and allied countries as was the case last summer with the Barbadian and Colombian forces.
