Baptiste, who previously worked with the senior women's national team at the 2023 World Cup and coached the U-20 women's team in 2025, will lead the team during the first phase of the competition in Curaçao. This is the qualifying phase for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, which will be held in Morocco in 2026. As the top seed in Group C, Haiti will play four matches at the FFK Stadium in Willemstad, Curaçao, at 6:00 p.m. against Antigua and Barbuda (January 25), Saint Lucia (January 27), the Cayman Islands (January 31), and Guatemala (February 2), aiming to secure first place in the group and advance to the next round.
