As part of the fight against the illegal storage and sale of fuel, the Northeast Departmental Directorate of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Haitian National Police (PNH), and the competent judicial authorities, in a joint operation, dismantled a clandestine fuel depot in the commune of Trou-du-Nord.

During this operation, a woman was arrested for her alleged involvement in this illegal activity.

Furthermore, a tanker truck filled with gasoline was seized, while two other tanker trucks were impounded in accordance with applicable laws.

This operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat the illegal storage, transportation, and sale of petroleum products, prevent major risks to public safety, and enforce applicable laws and regulations.
