Commemorative postage stamp for Haiti's qualification for the 2026 World Cup

On Friday, June 5, 2026, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé officially launched the commemorative postage stamp celebrating the historic qualification of the Haitian national team, the Grenadiers, for the 2026 World Cup.

This initiative by the Haitian Postal Service aims to immortalize one of the greatest achievements in national football and to pay tribute to the Grenadiers' exceptional journey.

In his address, the Prime Minister emphasized that this qualification is a symbol of unity, resilience, and hope for the entire Nation. He noted that this stamp, destined to circulate throughout the world, will carry the image of Haiti as a proud, dignified country resolutely focused on the future.

Fils-Aimé also praised the discipline, determination, and commitment of the national team, while inviting the population, especially the youth, to draw inspiration from this historic achievement.

Carel Alexandre, Director General of the Haitian Postal Service, and James Monazard, Minister of Commerce and Industry, emphasized the symbolic and heritage significance of this special issue, which contributes to enhancing Haiti's image on the international stage.

The commemorative stamp will officially enter circulation on June 5, 2026.
