On the eve of its first match in the final phase of the CONCACAF U-20 Champions League, where Haiti will face the United States Yankees on July 25, 2026, at the Estadio Universitario BUAP in Puebla, Mexico at 10:00 PM (Haiti time), Haiti was forced to make a last-minute change.

After suffering an injury, defender #17 Medinel Zamor will be unable to participate in the competition. To replace him, the coaching staff called upon Shaun Brun, who already has experience at this level, having represented Haiti at the last Concacaf U-20 Championship two years ago.

The Federation's request for a replacement was approved by the competition's organizing committee, allowing Shaun Brun to officially rejoin the squad.
