For over a month, the sounds of the drum have been regularly echoing through the Fabrique des Arts. As the sessions progress, their movements become more precise, their rhythms better mastered, and their listening skills develop. The participants gradually discover different traditional Haitian rhythms, including Ibo, Yanvalou, and Contredanse, while deepening their understanding of drumming techniques.

But beyond musical learning, these sessions are also opportunities for connection and knowledge sharing. Playing together requires listening, concentration, discipline, and a certain ability to find one's place within the collective rhythm.

Through this regular course, La Fabrique des Arts, in partnership with the Institute for the Promotion of Development in Education and Culture (IPDEC), continues its commitment to the transmission of Haitian cultural heritage by creating a space where young people can discover, practice, and gradually make this tradition their own.
